About John Forlev A/S
John Forlev A/S was founded in 1998, when John Olsen decided to go into business for himself , after working as a director in a family-owned haulier company for many years.
The business he chose was steel plate rental. This soon turned out to be a wise choice, because the company has managed to make a name for itself as one of the most important companies in the rental of steel plates in Denmark within a very short time.
John Forlev A/S is renowned as a reliable partner where service and flexibility are some of the catchwords in its daily work.
John Olsen has not entirely left his former sector, as the 25 rental depots at a number of haulier businesses all over Denmark ensure nationwide distribution with fast delivery and high flexibility.
When the decision was made to enlarge the product portfolio, what could be more natural than including plastic ground protection mats in the product range. This became a reality in 2005, when the company was given the dealership for the quality US product known as Ground-Guards.
Besides Denmark, the distribution rights include Sweden, Norway, Finland, Poland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland. The Ground-Guards protection mats are sold or rented.
The strategy to include additional products in the range was put into action in 2009 when three more products were added. Interesting products such as hand-operated chisels, iron binders and strip binders are part of John Forlev’s product range.
New products will also be added in the years ahead. However, all of them must live up to the company’s strict quality requirements.
